We have partnered with MTU's College of Computing for their MS in Health Informatics program. MTU's Master of Science in Health Informatics program provides students with state-of-the-art learning, research, and laboratory spaces to meet the growing demand of the healthcare industry's focus on precision medicine through data, quality care, and overall patient health.
The minimum eligibility requirement is an undergraduate degree in a computational, mathematical, data science, clinical or closely related technical field from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale. A 3-year degree will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Please consult the eligibility section for more information.
The English proficiency requirement is IELTS (6.5) or TOEFL (79). The GRE requirement is also waived for Leap Advantage students.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students studying in a STEM-designated program can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing them to work for 12 months in the US after completing the degree program. The STEM designation of the MTU Health Informatics program makes students eligible for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension. With up to 36 months more time to work and network in the US, international students can build valuable professional skills and contacts to help them with their career endeavors.
